A pouch filling machine can work in several different ways, from either reel fed flexible packaging or pre-made pouches. Reel fed pouch machines are commonly used for longer production runs with fewer size or product changes and pre-made pouch machines are generally used for shorter production runs with more frequent product changes.

For long run reel fed stand up pouches and sachets with optional zippers, shapes, UltraClean execution and fitments the Bossar range of full servo reel fed horizontal form fill and seal range is the ultimate in speed and efficiency. Many years of mechanical and electrical process development by Bossar, has culminated in an extremely efficient reel fed pouch forming and filling solution. Environmentally responsible single polymer fully recyclable films are very difficult to achieve consistent quality on older mechanical machines and this is where full servo HFFS technology excels at running extensible single polymer films.

For Pre-Made pouch filling the Bossar range of full servo pre-made pouch fillers are ideal for fast "push button" size changeovers with additional features to make product recipe change faster, cleaner and safer than traditional pre-made pouch filling machines. With several bags in process, then fast production is gauranteed compared to lower cost pick/fill/seal one pouch at a time machines.

The ScaldoPack through the spout filling range are ideal for short to medium run length productions, the Scaldopack range of through the spout fillers allow packers to quickly set up and change pouch size, spout size and product quickly and efficiently.

The Bossar range of through the spout fillers are for higher speed productions where aseptic filling is possible for long run food products.
